PRIVACY & TELEMETRY SOVEREIGNTY PROTOCOL // REV 2024.4
Cryptographic privacy architecture, zero-surveillance telemetry design, and absolute rider ownership of raw sensor data at edge runtime.
Zero Law Enforcement Backdoors
MotorSignal operates under a zero-knowledge architectural mandate. The application rejects systemic ingestion of aggregated velocity, throttle profiles, or high-speed run clusters to central command nodes. MotorSignal Dynamics Corp cannot comply with civil or criminal bulk discovery orders for rider telemetric profiles because the operational decryption key does not exist on our servers.
Telemetry packets are cryptographically hashed using client-held Ed25519 signing pairs. No third-party data broker, insurance underwriter, or state surveillance infrastructure maintains persistent or warrantless query access to rider trajectory records.

Local 20Hz IMU Encryption
Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) telemetry—including pitch, roll, 6-axis linear acceleration, angular velocity, and suspension potentiometer voltages sampled at 20Hz—is processed through an on-die cryptographic pipe. Raw values are committed to flash partitions using authenticated AES-GCM-256 blocks with deterministic initialization vectors generated inside the vehicle terminal Secure Element.
Cloudflare R2 Sync Protocols
Telemetry sync packets leverage Write-Ahead Log (WAL) frame aggregation directly from the local SQLite engine. Synchronization to remote storage targets private, zero-egress Cloudflare R2 object buckets authenticated over mutually verified TLS 1.3 tunnels. Storage buckets utilize client-provisioned cryptographic keys (SSE-C), rendering upstream files unreadable to host providers.
Lean Mute Acoustic Privacy
Helmet intercom inputs, ambient exhaust microphones, and spatial audio cues are analyzed entirely inside temporary neural coprocessor buffers. Speech recognition tokens for roadside trap reports and voice navigation commands execute locally. Raw acoustic streams are permanently excluded from cloud relays, session log files, or multi-rider pack broadcasts.
Right to Erasure (GDPR/CCPA Protocol)
Pursuant to GDPR Article 17 and California Consumer Privacy Act specifications, riders hold non-revocable self-service rights to total telemetry sanitization. Actuating the cryptographic purge triggers a synchronous wipe across local solid-state hardware, distributed edge cache caches, and remote encrypted object stores.
Automated Residential GPS Fuzzing
To prevent home address deduction via endpoint clustering, MotorSignal automatically activates a 1.5-mile Gaussian perimeter fuzz around user-designated Safe Havens (e.g., Home, Work, Private Garages). Shared session links, telemetry exports, and live group radar streams automatically mask geographic coordinates within this exclusion perimeter.
Stochastic micro-shifts obfuscate exact street entrances while maintaining realistic entry velocity curves for aerodynamic calculation.
Publicly shared track days, rally runs, and mountain switchback analyses strip all waypoint breadcrumbs prior to spatial export.
