## Platform
adaptive
## Users
Motorcycle riders who record rides and review telemetry and performance data.
## Product Purpose
MotorSignal records motorcycle rides, captures telemetry, supports performance analysis and diagnostics, and synchronizes ride data to the cloud when available. Local ride recording must remain usable offline and while signed out.
## Positioning
An offline-first motorcycle telemetry and ride-recording app that connects live riding data with historical performance analysis and durable cloud synchronization.
## Operating Context
The product is used during motorcycle rides for glanceable live telemetry and after rides for reviewing records, routes, performance results, diagnostics, and exports. It runs across Android and iOS form factors with responsive layouts.
## Capabilities and Constraints
- Live motorcycle telemetry, ride recording, performance timing, diagnostics, history, routes, exports, and cloud synchronization.
- Local recording is independent of authentication, connectivity, and Firebase availability.
- Existing telemetry, ride-state, database, sync, export, and stable ride-identity contracts must be preserved.
- Android and iOS layouts must adapt across portrait and landscape orientations.
## Evidence on Hand
The repository contains Flutter application code, ride logs and field-test exports, telemetry architecture documentation, cloud-sync documentation, and existing visual design specifications. Do not fabricate product claims, rider testimonials, benchmarks, or production-readiness evidence.
## Product Principles
- Preserve ride data before optimizing convenience.
- Make live telemetry glanceable and legible while riding.
- Keep recording useful offline and signed out.
- Preserve historical integrity across sync and export.
- Keep rider-facing UI separate from telemetry acquisition and persistence.
## Accessibility & Inclusion
Use standard Flutter accessibility practices, including semantic labels, sufficient contrast, text scaling support, and usable touch targets. No additional product-specific accessibility requirements were established.
